Economic necessity and environmental concerns have required the transportation industry to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to the infrastructure renewal problem. During the past 20 years, significant contributions have been made in the use of alternate paving materials for highway and airport construction, as well as in the development of nondestructive testing and computer modeling techniques for pavement design and management.

RDM has participated in research projects at the FAA William T. Hughes Technical Center, the Federal Highway Administration, and The Asphalt Institute.

To meet this challenge, Roy D. McQueen & Associates, Ltd. has made dedicated efforts to maintain a leadership role in the consulting community, with particular emphasis on research in pavement management and construction materials. Our approach has been to concentrate on practical application and actionable results, rather than esoteric study.
