Roy D. McQueen & Associates, Ltd. (RDM) is a minority-owned small business that specializes in military and commercial airport engineering, information technology, and research. RDM has provided nondestructive testing and airport engineering services at approximately 200 airports in 46 states and 17 foreign countries since 1987. Our engineering work has been used to successfully support airport construction projects, including DOD airbases, which have an aggregate construction value exceeding $3 billion. RDM has also performed a number of research contracts for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on pavement materials, nondestructive testing (NDT), and pavement structural design procedures. In fact, RDM literally “wrote the book” on NDT for the FAA with the publication of Advisory Circular 150/5370-11A, “Use of Nondestructive Testing in the Evaluation of Airport Pavements” in 2004. We are also currently assisting the FAA with the re-write of Advisory Circular 150/5320-6D, “Airport Pavement Design and Evaluation”, scheduled for publication as Advisory Circular 150/5320-6E in early 2008. In addition to our research capabilities and airfield engineering expertise, RDM’s Information Technology (IT) Division is also focused in providing information engineering and technology solutions to the Federal, State and Local government, and commercial organizations in the information infrastructure, system, and software engineering:
Our IT clients include the Army National Guard Bureau, The US House of Representatives, the Department of Navy, Virginia Department of Transportation, and the United Nations.
